On Tuesday, students from Bowen High School, located on the Southeast side of Chicago, walked out from class in protest of the anti-immigrant and racist backlashes by the Trump election results. Students voiced their concerns and are taking a stand against hate by standing together in unity. As Centro de Trabajadores Unidos: Immigrant Workers’ Project (CTU) approaches its ninth year anniversary as an organization, we continue to grow our labor, immigration and economic development work.
